As it ships, this site sets no cookies
Two things are remembered between visits — your light or dark theme preference, and your answer to the consent banner — and both are kept in your browser's local storage rather than a cookie. Local storage stays on your device and is not attached to requests, so nothing here is transmitted to us as you browse, and nothing carries an identifier that follows you to another site.
Analytics — only if you accept
Analytics is the only optional collection on this site, and it is gated behind the banner. Until you accept, nothing is sent anywhere: events are held in memory for the length of your visit and discarded outright if you decline. If you accept, we record which pages get read and which get abandoned — page paths and event names, not people. We run no advertising trackers, so there is no cross-site profile being assembled either way.
Changing your choice
Your decision is stored in your browser's local storage under a single key. Clearing site data for merilsoft.com removes it, and the banner will ask again on your next visit.
Third parties
We do not sell advertising on this site and we do not embed advertising trackers. The only third parties that may receive data are the sub-processors listed on our security page, and they receive it to deliver the service rather than to profile you.
