Discovery & business analysis
Merilsoft ran discovery inside the center's own working weeks rather than in a meeting room. The team sat with Dana through part of an intake cycle — listening to the calls come in from waitlisted students asking whether a seat had opened, and going through the shared spreadsheet program by program to see what the center actually had a record of. Instructors were caught between sessions rather than pulled into workshops, and each was asked how they ran a class for a remote student that week: which files they emailed, which links they sent, and what came back. The point was to map how the center already worked, not to design something new on paper.
Two findings out of that mapping shaped the rollout. The first was that the waitlist wasn't spread evenly across the programs — the longest ones sat on two of the trades programs.
